Charles Goodrich — Joy McDowell — Rodger Moody
Charles Goodrich is the author of three books of poetry: A Scripture of Crows; Going to Seed: Dispatches from the Garden; and Insects of South Corvallis; and of a collection of essays: The Practice of Home; and is the co-editor of two anthologies: Forest Under Story: Creatie Inquiry in an Old-Growth Forest, and In the Blast Zone: Catastrophe and Renewal on Mount St. Helens. Following a long career as a professional gardener, he now serves as director for the Spring Creek Project for Ideas, Nature, and the Written Word at Oregon State University.
Joy McDowell is a 45-percenter, meaning she is a native Oregonian. She graduated from the University of Oregon and has produced three chapbooks. Her work is included in the anthology New Poets of the American West. Joy has served as treasurer of the Lane Literary Guild board and she is currently the secretary of the Oregon Poetry Association board. She has studied at Centrum in Port Townsend, Washington, and with the Coos Bay Poets in Charleston, Oregon.
Rodger Moody is the founding editor of Silverfish Review Press. Poems have appeared in many magazines, including Caliban, Cloudbank, upstreet, Indiana Review, Mudfish, and ZYZZYVA. Self-Portrait / Sixteen Sevenlings, 2012 recipient of the At Hand Chapbook Award from Bright Hill Press was released in June of 2013. History, a full-length collection of poetry, was released by sight | for | sight books in 2015. For the past thirty-one years he has made his living as a warehouse worker.
